The history of the building can be traced back to the 1700s quite precisely. For example, you can find out who sold it and when, who bought it and then sold it again, or who gave it up for various reasons.

In 1723, the Komáromi family bought an estate in Ottomány, which was later used by Várady Szabó and then the Jasztrabszky family. Its last owner was István Lovass from Mihályfalva. After it was taken over by the state, the building, which was still in good condition, was occasionally rented out as a vacation home. In the communist era, the local production cooperative established itself there, used it as a cultural center and was the location of the nursery. In the 1990s, it was handed back to the tenants, who could live in it as long as the condition of the building allowed it. Since 2010, European funds have given hope to the ensemble of buildings, which was already declared a monument at the time.
